What does Refiner scan for?

Refiner automatically scans your store for SEO issues (meta tags, canonical links, structured data), mobile experience (viewport settings), inventory problems (low stock), broken links, and pricing anomalies. Scale and Elite plans include AI recommendations for content improvement.
How often can I run scans?

Free: Up to 1 scan per hour
Growth: Up to 1 scan per hour
Scale & Elite: Real-time (unlimited scans)
What are fix credits and how do I get more?

Fix credits allow you to apply AI-suggested fixes to your store. Daily limits (resets at midnight):
Free: 10 fixes/day
Growth: 50 fixes/day
Scale: 300 fixes/day
Elite: 1,000 fixes/day (fair-use limit)
Can I roll back a fix if something goes wrong?

Yes. Before applying any fix, Refiner shows you a risk assessment and a preview of the changes. After applying a fix, you can revert it within 30 days from the issue detail page. Elite plans have 1:1 support for complex rollbacks.
Which plan should I choose?

Free: Best for testing or very small stores (1 scan/hour, 10 fixes/day, no trial)
Growth: Ideal for small-to-medium stores (1 scan/hour, 50 fixes/day, 7-day free trial)
Scale: For growing stores with real-time scanning and auto-fix (300 fixes/day, 7-day free trial)
Elite: Full automation, up to 1,000 fixes/day, dedicated CSM (no trial — full access from day one)

If you just installed Refiner, this guide walks you through everything step by step.

Install the app and approve permissions

Install Refiner from the Shopify App Store. Approve the requested permissions (products, themes, inventory). These are required for automated fixes to work.

Run your first scan

Click Run Scan on the Dashboard. The scan takes a few minutes and detects SEO, mobile, inventory, and content issues across your store.

Review detected issues

When the scan finishes, issues are sorted by severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low). Click any issue to see the detail and the AI recommendation.

Apply a fix (Fix Credits)

Click Fix to auto-apply a fix. Confirm the change preview. Fixes can be reverted within 30 days. Each plan has a daily fix limit (resets at midnight).

Manage your plan

If you need more fixes, visit the Plans page. Growth and Scale each include a 7-day free trial. Elite starts immediately with full access.
