Agreement to these terms

By installing or using Refiner, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service scope

Refiner provides issue detection, diagnostics, and merchant-initiated fix actions for Shopify stores. Service features depend on plan level, Shopify permissions, and platform availability.

Merchant responsibilities

• Maintain valid Shopify account access and app permissions.
• Review fix suggestions and confirm actions before applying them.
• Verify store outcomes after automated or manual fixes.
• Ensure all use of the app complies with Shopify policies and applicable law.

Billing and plans

Paid plans, limits, and pricing are shown in-app. Billing is managed through Shopify where applicable. Plan changes and cancellations follow Shopify billing rules and effective dates.

Acceptable use

You must not use the service to violate law, interfere with platform operations, bypass security controls, or abuse API resources. We may limit or suspend access for abusive or fraudulent behavior.

Intellectual property

Refiner and related service materials remain the property of the provider and licensors. These terms grant a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service during an active subscription or permitted usage period.

Availability and limitations

We aim for reliable operation, but uptime is not guaranteed. Some diagnostics and estimates are directional and should be interpreted as potential impact, not guaranteed financial results.

Disclaimer of warranties

Except where prohibited by law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or guaranteed business outcomes.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or business interruption.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the provider from claims arising from misuse of the service, violations of law, or breaches of these terms.

Data and privacy

Data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you authorize processing necessary to provide requested features and support.

Termination

You may stop using the service by uninstalling the app. We may suspend access for abuse, fraud, or legal compliance reasons.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable laws of the provider's operating jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
